As part of our EM530 Project Management course by Steve DelGrosso, PMP, CSM, CSPO, we took part in the Harvard Business School Everest Simulation – an immersive exercise that places teams in a high-stakes environment where every decision matters. Each of us played a unique role on an expedition to the summit of Everest, balancing personal objectives, group goals, health, and resources along the way. The simulation is designed to test not only strategy and risk management, but also leadership, communication, and the ability to adapt under pressure.
